WITH pencils for pylons and rulers for roads, this is the Sydney Harbour Bridge like you've never seen it. Victorian artist Darcy Prendergast and a small team battled paper cuts and fatigue to build a model of the harbour city using only Staples office stationery. The team spent about 190 painstaking hours sticking together Post-it notes to form water, attaching rulers to bull dog clips to construct the iconic coathanger and stacking staple boxes to build skyscrapers. "Our approach was simple. We used a bird's eye image of Sydney to map out the shape of the harbour and position Sydney's most distinguished structures," Mr Prendergast said. "We started by building the Harbour Bridge using bulldog clips, coloured pencils and rubber band packets".
